These photos were available at the School Building Committee informal question and answer session for Town Meeting members held Saturday, November 6, 1999 from 8 to noon at Parker Middle School, as well as at Town Meeting on November 15.
Based on State Department of Education standards (see reference below) and school committee guidelines, Reading elementary schools are 218 students over capacity today. Every available space is being used, including hallways, converted closets and stages.
